#FaitesDesParents: the flagship campaign for gamete donation is back in the media
Published on 6 March 2025

From Monday March 3, the #FaitesDesParents campaign is once again visible on the Internet, until March 25. Our first communication wave of the year to promote gamete donation! It's 100% digital and 100% geolocalized.
100% digital, because it's only available on the Internet and will be visible on :
- Online media sites and general information sites
- Three social networks: Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat
100% geolocalized, as it is aimed at potential sperm and egg donors who live near a donation center, in mainland France, Guadeloupe and Reunion Island. More specifically:
- Women of oocyte-donating age (18 to 37 inclusive)
- Men old enough to donate sperm (aged 18 to 44 inclusive) Different visuals and messages are used to attract the attention of parents (who already have children and want to share this happiness with others) and young people (who don't have children but want others to experience this happiness).
Through its #FaitesDesParents campaign, Agence continues its efforts to :
- Raise awareness of the strong need for sperm and oocyte donation Since the August 2, 2021 law on bioethics extended access to MPA to female couples and unmarried women, the number of requests for MPA with sperm donation has exploded. Nearly 13,000 requests were registered in 2023, compared with around 2,000 per year prior to 2021. Sperm donations are currently insufficient to meet all requests, and waiting times for sperm donations last several months.
- To book an appointment, simply search for your nearest center on our websites https://www.dondespermatozoides.fr/les-centres-autorises/ or https://www.dondovocytes.fr/les-centres-autorises/ and fill in a contact form.
Part of this campaign is aimed at healthcare professionals, this time mainly gynecologists and midwives. The aim is to remind them of the important role they can play in raising awareness of gamete donation among their patients. This part of the campaign is also 100% digital. It will be displayed on Doctolib, as well as on professional websites consulted by these healthcare professionals.
