What's the point of telling my loved ones if I'm for organ donation?

In France, the law states that we are all organ and tissue donors. You are therefore presumed to be a donor.
However, it's important to discuss your wishes with those closest to you. If you are not on the national register of refusals, it is to them that medical teams will turn at the time of death to ensure that you had not, during your lifetime, expressed opposition to organ and tissue donation.
