There are no contraindications in principle to organ and tissue donation, even if you have had an illness.
Young, old, sick or healthy people are all potential donors.
In the event of death, the medical team in charge of the donor will be the sole judge and will evaluate the organs and tissues on a case-by-case basis to ensure the feasibility of retrieval.
Even donors undergoing medical treatment or with a long medical history may be considered for donation.
