I saw an appeal in the media/on the networks for a patient to donate bone marrow. I'm touched and would like to help. How can I help?

Registering as a bone marrow donor is an altruistic and anonymous act that requires reflection, because it's a long-term commitment that may one day help a patient you don't know to recover.

It's important to remember that bone marrow donation can only be made to a person with whom you share the same biological HLA characteristics, and this compatibility between two people is rare. While it is not possible to register simply to find out if you are compatible and donate for a particular patient, you can of course register as a donor to increase the chances of recovery for all patients, in France and throughout the world.

If you can't become a bone marrow donor, there are other ways to get involved: we need ambassadors to spread the word about bone marrow donation! Motivating new 18-35 year-olds to join the voluntary donor registry means helping to save lives. To help you, tools are available on the www.dondemoelleosseuse.fr website in the "Share" section.

In any case, a big thank you to you for your solidarity.
