Authorization to store human embryonic stem cells for research purposes

The conservation of human embryonic stem cells for research purposes is strictly regulated by law, and requires prior declaration to the Agence de la biomédecine. On this page, you will find the procedure to follow, as well as the documents you need to submit your application to the Agency.
Initial declaration
The conservation of embryonic stem cells is the subject of a declaration addressed to the general management of the Agence de la biomédecine, preferably by electronic means or by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, or deposited against receipt, at the following address:

After checking the admissibility of the declaration file, the Agency acknowledges receipt.
