The plant
The Agence de la biomédecine is a public administrative establishment under the supervision of the French Ministry of Health. The Agency manages, supervises, supports and evaluates activities in the fields of organ, tissue and cell procurement and transplantation, as well as in human reproduction, embryology and genetics, and embryo and human embryonic stem cell research. It fulfils both supervisory and expert missions, and operational missions, which for some of its departments involve 24/7 operation (for example, for the distribution of transplants).
The Agency employs 253 people, most of whom work at its head office in Saint-Denis (93); some 50 people work in regional departments.
The Agence de la biomédecine is headed by a Director General, supported by two Deputy Directors General: a Deputy Director General in charge of medical and scientific policy, and a Deputy Director General in charge of resources.
Job environment
Created in 2010, the Pôle national de répartition des greffons (PNRG) comprises three units. It is a unit within the Department of Organ and Tissue Procurement and Transplantation (DPGOT), whose activities fall within the scope of the missions assigned to the Agence de la biomédecine by the legislator:
- the distribution and allocation of transplants in France (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and abroad (Europe). These activities fall within the remit of the national transplant allocation platform,
- management of the Registre National des Refusus (RNR) (registration and interrogation) (24/7),
- management of the National Waiting List (LNA) (24/7),
- where necessary, the national platform provides support for related logistical activities.
Main tasks
The dispatch assistant will be responsible for :
1. Advising, guiding and prioritizing donor files in collaboration with dispatch nurses:
- Issuing and receiving calls from regional services and procurement and transplant partners.
2. Query the Registre National des Refusus; register patients on the national waiting list for organ and tissue transplants (LNA) during on-call periods:
- Data entry in the POPP management application.
- Operational support for transplant teams in registering patients on the waiting list.
3. Graft allocation:
- Collaboration in the management of transplant allocation.
- Data entry in the CRISTAL management application.
- Retransmit requests for additional information between partners (collect and transmit information).
- Import and export organs via the FOEDUS EOEO platform.
- Organization of transplant transport in liaison with :
- Transport companies (airlines, SNCF, Europe Air Poste, CPAir, couriers, etc.).
- Regional services and European organizations.
- Follow-up of donor files.
4. Manage priorities:
- Prioritization following calls to expert colleges.
- Management of expert components.
5. Other tasks & support :
- Support registry teams in analyzing Cristal files.
- Updating of documentation required for the operation of the division (files and telephone directory).
- Develop, monitor and update departmental tools.
- Passing on specific information on current donors to ensure continuity of files.
- Filing and archiving of files.
- Statistics.

Knowledge, skills & abilities
As a state-qualified nursing assistant or graduate of a baccalaureate in medico-social sciences (SMS), you will have significant professional experience in a hospital environment, and a good command of IT tools (Microsoft Windows environment, Outlook, Word and Excel). Ideally, you are fluent in spoken and written English. Your potential and personality will be decisive:
