Privacy and confidentiality

The information collected on this site is processed by the Agence de la biomédecine in its capacity as data controller within the meaning of the European Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016 and Law no. 78-17 of January 17, 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms.

This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party and for the realization of the Agency's legitimate interest (Article 6.1.c and f of the General Data Protection Regulation and Article L. 1418-1 of the Public Health Code). The data collected and processed enables the Agency, in its capacity as personal data controller, to manage the request, without which it could not be processed.

The data processed via the document order form enables the Agence de la biomédecine to compile and use an address file for the purpose of delivering information or communication documents relating to the missions of the Agence de la biomédecine, to the exclusion of any commercial solicitation.

Data processed through the RAMS satisfaction questionnaire is exclusively quantitative and for statistical purposes, with a view to improving the usability of the site. No personal data is stored via this form.

Who will have access to this data?

This personal data is subject to special protection throughout its processing. In addition to the security measures implemented, the Agence de la biomédecine constantly ensures that only certain authorized persons (Agence staff) have access to this information. We take great care to ensure that the data collected is never misappropriated or used for any other purpose. What's more, data is systematically destroyed once processing has been completed.

What rights do I have to this data?

Users have the right to access, modify, rectify and object to their personal data for the entire duration of the processing. You also have the right to have this data deleted, to withdraw your consent to the collection of this data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (CNIL). These rights may be exercised by writing to the Agency's Correspondant informatique et libertés / Délégué à la protection des données (Direction juridique de l'Agence de la biomédecine / 1 avenue du Stade de France, 93212 SAINT DENIS LA PLAINE Cedex), en joindre la copie d'un justificatif d'identité comportant votre signature. If you do not receive a reply within one month, you may refer the matter to the CNIL.

This service is provided by the Agence de la biomédecine, a national government agency created by the French Bioethics Act of 2004, amended in 2011 and 2013, in its capacity as personal data controller (governed by the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978), whose head office is located at 1 avenue du Stade de France, 93212 SAINT DENIS LA PLAINE Cedex (SIRET no. 180 092 587 00013).
