"The year 2024 was marked by major challenges. We had to continue to increase organ procurement and transplantation activity, despite a rise in opposition reported by donor families. On the bone marrow register, the challenge was to enrol more young male donors. In medically-assisted procreation, the aim was to increase the number of gamete donors to meet rapidly growing demand.
