Organ and tissue donation and transplantation - International actions

The Agence de la biomédecine leverages its expertise in all these fields on a European and global scale to support the development of procurement and transplantation systems.

At European level, the agency contributes to the work of the European Commission and the Council of Europe, and participates in working groups to draw up or develop regulations and rules of good practice. It also contributes to collaborative projects funded by the European Union.

On a global scale, it carries out cooperative actions in favor of organ, tissue, cell and gamete procurement and transplantation, while ensuring that its values (transparency, expertise, solidarity, etc.) are respected.
